GENEVA COUNTY:    Today is an important day in Geneva County. The registered voters will cast their votes for one of two people to serve as Geneva County Sheriff.


The race is between long time Geneva County Deputy Tony Helms, who serves as Chief Deputy. In the race runoff also is Alabama Beverage Control Board Agent David Hall.


Both men are in the race to replace Geneva County Sheriff Greg Ward who will retire in January 2015.


Also in Coffee County is race for Coffee County Coroner. The clear choice is Tim Whitehead.
