ELBERTVILLE AL:  Former Dothan Police Lt. Stan Devane has taken a job with Elbertville Police Department as Police Chief. The community is in Baldwin County.

Devane has been with the Alabama Pardons and Parole Office for the past 6 years. He will be leaving that job and assuming the Chief of Police duties.

This is the second Houston County native to take police chief jobs in Baldwin County. Eddie Ingram serves as Police Chief in Summerville in Baldwin County.
