Road Closure - Correction

One of the addresses on the second closure location was incorrect...see the changes below.


Closures to South County Road 55 will begin next week. We will have two crews working to replace cross drains along the roadway. One crew will be working on the section of County Road 55 between the Ashford City limits and Enterprise Church Road. The second crew will be working on the section between Enterprise Church Road and Lucy Grade Road. There are several cross drains to replace in each section, and the Road & Bridge Department will send out email notifications with more detailed site locations for local traffic. There will be a detour in place for through traffic.


For local traffic the locations of the first closures are as follows:


Between Ashford City limits and Enterprise Church Road - the cross drain location is approximately 100 ft North of the Co-op.


Between Enterprise Church Road and Lucy Grade Road - the cross drain is located between 2704 S. County Road 55 and 2883 S. County Road 55.
