Robbery in Enterprise

The Enterprise Police Department is investigating an armed robbery that occurred at the Endale Estates rental office 25973 Hwy 134 East Enterprise, AL on November 17, 2014 10:15 AM. An employee at the rental office advised that a black male approached the counter, displayed a handgun, and demanded money. The employee advised the suspect was wearing all black, a wig, and dark sunglasses. The suspect stole rent money and the employee’s purse. The suspect put the money in a bag and attempted to take money from another individual in the office before fleeing into a nearby wooded area. The two victims of this robbery were not injured during this encounter.
Responding EPD Officers and Detectives were able to locate the suspect in a nearby trailer with the assistance of the trailer park manager. The park manager advised that he followed the suspect in his vehicle from the rental office to a trailer immediately after the robbery. The park manager stated that while following the suspect, the suspect pointed a firearm at him; he then struck the suspect with his vehicle. The suspect surrendered to EPD Officers on scene and was taken into custody. The suspect was transported to Medical Center Enterprise for medical treatment. EPD Detectives charged Larissa Ann Jones, age 41, of Enterprise, AL and Steven Laponce Jones, age 49, of Enterprise, AL with Robbery 1st Degree.
