Daleville Police Officers and Criminal Investigators spotted two suspects fleeing from the Complete Cash and into the woods towards where the reports were of the vehicle. The officers sped to that area and caught two black male suspects as they were fleeing through the woods to the parked vehicle.
It was like catching deer in headlights - the suspects ran right into the hands of the Daleville Police Officers and Criminal Investigators.
Arrested and charged with robbery, Ethan Moore, black male, age 21, listed as homeless from Dothan Alabama. Reports are Moore is on probation from Houston County for robbery.
Also arrested and charged with robbery, Ladarius Ward, black male, age 20, has outstanding arrest warrants in Dothan for robbery.
Both Moore and Ward are in the Dale County Jail on charges of Robbery under a no bond.
GOOD JOB to the men and women of Daleville Police and the Communications Officers for getting information and getting that information dispatched to officers.
Also very important - to solve crime, WE THE PEOPLE must be observant, watch for things as we travel to and from destinations, get good descriptions and call those descriptions into law enforcement agencies. This crime was solved because of observant citizens which provided information which allowed police officers to do their job.
We are being hammered on burglaries and thefts, to solve these crimes, it takes EVERYONE, EVERYONE watching for your friends and neighbors, being alert, getting descriptions and calling that information in. We all have camera phones, if safe, snap a picture and get to the local law enforcement.
