Samson Fire Responds to Reported Structure Fire

Samson, AL: Last night a Samson Firefighter called in a reported structure fire at J&J Auto Parts. 34 Central dispatchers rolled Samson Fire Department to J&J Auto Parts during the heavy rainfall and the multiple phone calls coming in due to flooding. Samson Fire responded to the parts store to find that the reported fire was only a wood burning stove. Smoke could be seen coming from the building upon arrival of Samson Fire Engine 35. Reports are the wood burning stove got too hot and caused a lot of smoke. Samson Police Officer Jeff Moring called over the radio and advised Samson Fire it was a wood burning stove before Samson Fire arrived on scene. Officer Moring was quick to the scene.
