Samson, AL: Samson Police Officers are having an increase of drug flow come through going down to the beach already. Samson currently has 45 drug cases, mostly Spring Breakers. Samson Police say the amount they are getting off of the streets ahead increased as well. They say last year they may have pulled a little bag a marijuana off of them, this year they are pulling bowls full and jars full Of marijuana. Police say its not only Marijuana that is passing through. Officers are also having an increased amount of prescription drugs come in, such as 50 pills of Adderall. Samson Police Department is fortunate enough to have a K-9 capable of detecting the scent of illegal drugs. Samson Police K-9 Officer Cass and her owner, Officer Jeff Moring has more than tripled the amount of drugs being taken off of the streets.

Samson is a major route for Spring Breakers, and some even drive through Samson smoking the Marijuana (getting high) causing a major danger to the citizens who actually live in the area. Below are pictures of K-9 Cass and fellow Officer Jeff Moring along with pictures of things they have seized off of the streets. All Officers with the Samson Police Department are working to keep the Spring Break Speeders slowed down and drug free.
