The Samson Police Department has been conducting this operation to curb the drug dealers in our City. Drugs dealing and drug use has been rampant here and we are fed up with it. Most citizens and our officials don’t realize the impact of illegal drug sales and use. Illegal narcotics and even legal controlled substance abuse is the root of most crimes. We live in a small community where nearly everybody knows everybody. We have good people here and to make Samson, Alabama a safer better place to live and raise your children this type of operation is necessary. It does take a lot of time and money. It is so sad when you see small children standing by drug dealers while they deal their drugs. It’s sad when people look up to these drug dealers because they have cash in their pockets. I encourage people to call the Police Department when they see suspicious activity going on. Come on People get involved in your community and help us clean it up. We appreciate the help from the District Attorney Kirke Adams and the Mayor of Samson. More to come.
