Samson Police Department Responds To Fight In Progress

Last night, Samson Police Officers Jeff Moring, Chris Miranda, and Reserve Officer Kelly Dean responded to a fight in progress on Bay Street. A male subject is reported to have been walking by a residence on Bay Street. A male subject at the residence is reported to have chased the male subject on the street and jumped him. Samson Rescue was called to the scene to check a female subject that had been struck in the hip. When Samson Police responded to the scene, the light bar triggered the male subject that chased the other male down the street to have a seizure. Samson Rescue responded to check both victims out. One male subject was taken into custody by Samson Police. The male subject was transported to the Geneva County Jail. Samson Police then requested rescue at the Police Department for the mae subject that was jumped. Samson Rescue repsonded to both locations, but did not trasnport.
