Santa Rosa Beach teen reported as missing


 


For Immediate Release


March 19, 2013


 


Walton County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a call in the area of Calle Escada Drive on March 18, 2013 at approximately 4:40 p.m. in reference to a possible missing juvenile.  Nicholas John Bettua, 15, of Santa Rosa Beach, was last seen in the evening hours of March 17tharound 4 p.m. by his mother.  He told her he was going to the nearby basketball court and would be back in an hour.  He has not been seen since however he did telephone his mother before the arrival of the deputy and told her he would be back home on Tuesday or Wednesday night.  He refused to give his location. 


 


Nicholas was last seen wearing jeans, a camouflage jacket and a University of Alabama ball cap.  He is a white male, 5’7 and 125 lbs.  He has blonde hair and green eyes.
