Scale back Alabama is a weight loss program to help teach and challenge the people in Alabama to eat healthier and loss weight. The Houston County Commission is participating in this event. According to County Commissioner Melinda McClendon; several Houston County employees are also participating in this event.


 


Commissioner Melinda McClendon also through the gauntlet and challenged the Dothan City Commission to compete. Commissioners Melinda Mc Clendon, Doug Singuefield, Jackie Battles and Commission Chairman Mark Culver make up the County Commission Team.


 


They have to each loose 10 lbs over a 10 week period. They will return in April to see how they did. Tonight they each weighted in at the River Nile.
