School Board Selects New Principals - Investigating Reasons Cited For Termination Of Current Girard Principal

DOTHAN:   Now there will be more to come to light publically...but Dothan School Superintendent got the "majority" of the Dothan School Board to terminate three principals.

One principal took the matter to court and lost. More to come on that issue.

The Dothan School Board has selected three Principal replacements. One of the three named replacements is at Dothan High School where the principal resigned and took another job.

The School Board promoted Stan Eldridge, Assistant Principal of Dothan High School to Principal. They promoted Charles Corbitt, the Principal of Selma Street School to Principal of Girard Middle School. The School Board named the Assistant Principal of Dothan High School, Ed Fleming to the Principal of PASS Academy.

Girard Middle School

We have been investigating the termination of the contract of the Principal of Girard Middle School. We have had people from the entire school system send me information and phone calls over this termination. We invite more to call me, 334-790-1729, because we are continuing to investigate this matter.

So far, I am not pleased with what I have seen and such utter bull manure put out by Dr Wilder and the "majority" of the Dothan School Board as to the reasons for termination. In fact, if you have children at Girard I think Dr Wilder and the "majority" of the school board is placing your children in potential danger over the reasons they cited for his termination.

We are investigating further the danger to the reasons cited by Dr, Wilder for the termination of the current principal. If the information flow continues, go ahead and begin contacting attorneys to place Dr. Wilder and the "majority" of the school board on notice if your child is injured at the school you will hold them responsible in their professional and personnel capacity. Make sure you protect your legal rights.

We refer to the "majority" because two School Board members voted against the termination of the principal.
