Second Armed Robbery-Reward Offered

The Chipley Police Department is requesting assistance in another armed robbery in just over a week. On February 08 at approximately 9:42pm a black male entered the Courthouse BP located on Jackson Av (U.S. 90). The suspect approached the cashier pointed what is believed to be a handgun at the cashier and demanded the money from the cash register. The cashier gave the money to the suspect. The suspect then fled the store running across the street and then left Chipley in an unknown vehicle west bound on U.S. 90. There are several similarities in this suspect and the suspect that robbed the Tom Thumb. At this time we believe it is the same suspect or suspects involved in both robberies. The suspect is described as a black male 6" to 6’2" tall and weighs 200 to 230lbs. We think it is possible that the suspect or suspects maybe borrowing a vehicle to commit the robberies.
