DOTHAN: Dothan 911 dispatched Dothan Police and Dothan Fire Engine 2 ( Lakewood ) to a gunshot wound on Nottingham Way.
At about 2 AM a Nottingham Way resident was cleaning his firearm. The weapon was new. The man took the clip out and forgot to check the chamber for a shell. He pulled the trigger as cleaning and the gun fired. It struck him in a finger and leg. The man was transported to the hospital for non life threatening injuries.
