GENEVA COUNTY: Imagine your being a member of the Alabama Senate and Alabama House of Representatives. And a major decision was being made by the Sate of Alabama that affected your areas of responsibility.
What would you expect? Would it be the courtesy to know before it was announced to the public?
Well your Alabama Governor, Robert Bentley, made an executive decision to close the two Geneva County Armories and to close the Geneva County Driver License. And he had so little respect for State Representative Donnie Chesteen and State Senator Harri Anne Smith that they had to find out through the media.
That's right Geneva County folks, you will be required to hitch hike to Dothan for your children to get driver license.
Your Representative and Senator are fighting mad about it.
In my opinion, Robert Bentley is making it difficult on the citizens of this state. Any service that he can cut to make life difficult on the citizens he intends to do. You see, the citizens of this state have nor cried making the Alabama Legislature raise taxes. So Bentley is determined to make it difficult and cause pain and suffering in hopes the citizens will force the legislature to give him more money.
Bentley has a security staff of about 25 people. Bentley flies all around on the helicopter or jet. This past Sunday he flew on the jet from Montgomery to Dothan for the white coat ceremony of the Doctor School. Driving would have been less expensive.
Bentley will not cut himself, only the services to the people.
That is why he is cutting the driver license. And what is stupid about his decision, a driver is required to pay $ 35 a year for a piece of plastic. The only place to buy it is from the State of Alabama. And Bentley stops local sales points.
What he needs to do, give it to John Watson ( compliment ) and he will have it making a major profit in no time.
