Senator Smith and Senator Brewbaker Sponsored a Bill to Help Families with Disabilities

MONTGOMERY: This past Week State Senator Smith and Senator Brewbaker sponsored a bill to help families with disabilities. After receiving a call from Brandi Deese’s family the two senators went to work. The bill will allow families members of a family touched by a disability to be able to save money for that family member. Right now the only way is to set up a trust fund and pay an attorney to oversee it, this can be very complex and subject to further legal actions later on down the road.


This bill will allow the family to save money through the packed program which is free and very secure. This will help give any family touched by a disability the peace of mind that their loved one will be provided for in years to come.
