Serious Accident on U S 231 South Near Mile Marker 3.

Madrid Fire, Southern Junction Fire, Hodgesville Fire, Pilcher’s Ambulnace and Houston County Deputies are on scene of a wreck on U S 231 at Mile Marker 3 just North of the Shell Station. One person was injured and taken to the hospital by ambulance. Medics called a "Trauma Alert" The area where the wreck is located is closed until all can be cleaned up. The cause of the crash is under investigation by the Alabama State Troopers. It Appears the cause of the wreck could be medical related.
