Serious Critical Wreck on US 231 & Smithville Rd

Rehobeth Rescue, Hodgesville Fire and the Houston County Sheriff’s Deputies are on the scene of a two vehicle wreck on US 231 and Smithville Rd in Hodgesville . One person was take to the hospital by Rehobeth Rescue and a trauma alert was called due to the driver being ejected. The cause of the crash is under investigation by the Alabama State Troopers. Both the inside lanes of traffic were closed due to the wreckage.
