Highlands Elementary School students in a accident in Tallahasse Fl. ONLY MINOR INJURIES
At approximately 4:05pm today, two “Southern Coaches” charter buses were travelling northbound on Gadsden Street when the rear bus collided with the bus in front of it, causing an accident which is currently blocking all lanes on Gadsden Street just south of Park Avenue. Patrol Officers from the Tallahassee Police Department and emergency responders are on the scene of the crash.
The passengers on the buses were school children from Highland’s Elementary School in Dothan Alabama. At this time, emergency personnel have identified several students with apparent minor injuries (bumps, bruises, nose bleeds) but are currently assessing all passengers for injuries. If they determine someone has a serious injury, they will be transported to a local hospital for treatment.
