Severe Weather Possible in the Central and Southern U.S this Weekend

The NWS Storm Prediction Center expects severe weather in the Central and Southern Plains tonight. During the day on Sunday, the threat of severe weather shifts east, extending from the Southern Plains to the Southeast. The area of greatest concern on Sunday is in eastern Texas, Arkansas and Louisiana. In these areas, large hail, damaging winds and even an isolated tornado cannot be ruled out. However this system is moving east and will make it's way into Florida Panhandle and Alabama. The possibility for heavy rain and wind, but can not rule out the possibility of servere thunderstorms and tornados. Keep a watch on the weather and the weather channel for more updates.
