DOTHAN: Houston County Sheriff Deputies were attempting to make an arrest on a person with an outstanding arrest warrant. The deputies went to a house on Harrison Road off Westgate Parkway.
The subject, dressed in shorts, no shoes or shirt, was apparently interested in other things then going to jail. So he took off running from the residence.
What the suspect was not aware of, Houston County Sheriff Donald Valenza requires the deputies to exercise and stay fit. So they gave chase on foot after him.
The suspect ran with deputies in chase. And he was acting like he could possibly fly because as he ran his arms were flapping in the air like wings were going to take off....🙄🙄🙄
Well his wings never lifted him off the ground. The deputies apprehended him. And for his efforts the deputies presented him with matching bracelets.
The man then started presenting symptoms like a seizure. Sheriff Deputies called Dothan Fire Engine 9 ( Technology Drive ) to the scene. Pilcher Ambulance also responded.
The subject did not get his ride if choice, the ambulance, but rather his ride of the black Tahoe.
Subject went to Houston County Jail.
Get this, the warrant was for a bad check. Not a major offense!
