Single Vehicle Crash in Coffee County

Coffee County, AL: Earlier this evening, Enterprise Communications Dispatched Enterprise Rescue and Tri-Com (Tri-Community) Volunteer Firefighters to a single motor vehicle crash at the intersection of Coffee County Road 723 and Coffee County Road 725. Elba Communications also dispatched Coffee County Deputies to the scene.
Tri-Community Firefighters arrived on scene to find a vehicle that had left the roadway and struck a ditch and several trees. The vehicle did suffer moderate damage from the crash. The driver was loaded into the back of Enterprise Rescue, but may have refused to go to the hospital after I left the scene. It is reported the vehicle may have slid through the stop sign due to the wet roadway.
The driver of the vehicle was not seriously injured. Coffee County Sheriff’s Deputy Jace Holley, along wiht 2 other Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the scene to help with the crash scene. An Alabama State Trooper was quick to the scene. The cause of the crash is under investigation by the Alabama State Trooper that responded to the scene.
