Single Vehicle Crash in Rehobeth

Rehobeth Fire and Rescue and Houston County Sheriffs Deputies were dispatched to a single vehicle crash at the intersection of S St Hwy 109 and Skipper Rd involving a white passenger car. Upon arrival, units found the vehicle in the ditch and driver had disappeared. Fire and Rescue were disregarded due to no road blockage or patients. Multiple Deputies responded and started looking for the driver. The search started around the area and included the driver’s residence. The driver was not found.

When the Alabama State Trooper arrived, the Deputy that was still on scene went back to the residence to check again and found the driver asleep in his bed. The driver was taken into custody by HCSO and turned over to AST. AST arrested the driver for DUI.
