UPDATED @ 11:44PM
Sources say that there were two individuals occupying the truck that wrecked at the intersection of U.S. Highway 431 and Henry County Road 118.
After wrecking someone who witnessed the accident pulled over to check on the occupants. They then got out of the truck and started walking southbound on U.S. 431. One of the individuals appeared to be injured and did state to the witness that he needed a ambulance. However, they continued to walk away from the scene.
Headland Police, Kinsey Police, and Alabama State Troopers immediately began looking for the two individuals but have been unsuccessful in locating them. No one is sure why the individuals left the scene, but it is believed that alcohol most likely played a role.
If anyone recognizes the vehicle or knows the identity of the occupants please contact Kinsey Police Department at 334-793-5409.
