HOUSTON COUNTY:  Cottonwood Police, Cottonwood Fire and Cottonwood Rescue responded to a report of a motor vehicle crash on South County 55 at Burl Lee Road.


One person was transported to the hospital by ambulance. The area where the crash occurred is closed until it can be cleaned up.


The cause of the crash is under investigation by the Alabama State Troopers.
