Slocomb Man Charged with First Degree Possession of a Forged Instrument and Possession of an Altered Firearm

On January 11, 2013 the Dothan Police Department responded to the Legacy Lounge, located at 1350 Montgomery Highway after receiving a report of a customer in possession of counterfeit bills. Upon arrival, police investigated the evidence and confirmed the suspect; Randall Carroll was in possession of counterfeit bills as well as an altered firearm. Carroll was arrested and responding investigators say the case will remain open for further investigation.
· Randall Carroll, black male, 20 years of age, of Slocomb, Alabama was arrested and charged with First Degree Possession of a Forged Instrument and Possession of an Altered Firearm with bonds totaling $20,000. All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
