On April 2nd, 2015 the Dothan Police Department began investigating a theft complaint involving the fraudulent use of the victim’s credit card. During that investigation, investigators found the victim’s credit card was used at a local shopping store in which security video captured images of an individual believed to be the suspect.
Utilizing the help of the public, images of that individual were shown through news and social media outlets which led to multiple tips that identified the subject as Jacob Murry.
Murry was taken into custody on April 16th and charged with Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card. Investigators say more charges are forthcoming as a result of his arrest.
The Dothan Police Department would like to thank the local and surrounding media outlets, as well as the public in helping to identify and bring Murry to justice.
- Jacob Flynn Murry, white male, 27 years of age, of Slocomb, Alabama was arrested and charged with Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card. A bond amount has been set at $15,000.00.
