Slocomb Woman Charged with Second Degree Theft of Property

On March 26, 2013 the Dothan Police Department responded to Lowes department store located at 2671 Ross Clark Circle in reference to a theft complaint involving an employee. Upon arrival, officers were advised that an internal investigation was started on Carla Lee after management suspected she was conducting fraudulent transactions using discarded sales receipts. Investigators say Lee began making the transactions in February and continued until she was recently confronted by the loss prevention officer of the business. Carla Lee was arrested and charged with second degree Theft of Property bringing this case to a close.



  • Carla Jill Lee, white female, 40 years of age, of Slocomb, Alabama was arrested and charged with second degree Theft of Property. The bond has been set at $2,500. All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
