Someone Please Call Jerry Faine Elementary School And Tell Them A 4 Year Old Is Missing

DOTHAN:    Would someone please call Jerry Lee Faine Elementary School and let them know a 4 year old child is missing.

OOPS...they found out as the mother arrived at about 1:05 PM to pick the child up early for a doctor's appointment.

Today, at about 7:50 AM a mother carried her four year old to school. Normally the child gets out of school at 2 PM. Today the child had a doctor's appointment at 2 PM so the mom came early to get her child. When she walked in the room to get the child the aid started to help her. Reports are the teacher never looked up.

The children were on the floor asleep. But not this mother's 4 year old. The mother was asked did she bring the child to school. HELLO - from 7:50 AM until 1:05 PM and you do not know??  Hello!!!

Shortly after the mother of the child and the aid, not the teacher, started looking for the child, the coach took off on her car. She returned with the child.

The mother was told the principal needed to talk to her. She waited until about 1:35 PM when the mother told the school officials she had to go for a 2 PM doctors appointment.

What the mother has learned so far... the child, four years old, had to go to the bathroom. The child was left unattended. When the child came out no one was there. When he got to the classroom no one was there.

The child went out the door of the school. The doors are designed once you exit you can not get back inside.

The only thing the child knew was to attempt to find his parents. So the child left walking and left the school grounds.

On Webb Road a person driving saw the child. The passer byer stopped with the child. Apparently they called the school and the coach came and picked up the child and returned the child to the school.

SCARY!!! Is Dothan City Schools OUT OF CONTROL since they fired Tim Wilder? Do we need to get Wilder back?

I can not believe the children are not accounted for. I can not believe the teacher was not more accountable than this. 

Dothan Police was called this evening by the parent when they found out what happened. The Dothan City Schools never called the police. 

The parents were told a report would be ready on Tuesday. WAIT...Tuesday!!!

I GOT TO WRITE OR ELSE...

I would be ashamed to be a public figure and have metal detectors and security where I work and there not be security and better protection of our most valuable resources...our children.

Children with guns at one school, a four year walks off campus unnoticed, a cross walk at Rehobeth where no one gives a rat's butt if a child gets hit... yet executive security for state officials no one cares about, all of the legislative security, courthouse security, metal detectors at the courthouse with all of the security, metal detectors at Dothan Commission Meetings and metal dectectors in the Dothan Police Department where most everyone is already armed.

But who cares about the kids...politicians only every 4 years. I would hold my head in literal shame if something happens to a child...
