Stolen AC Units from the Boy Scouts

All 4 air conditioners appear to have been pulled out of the window frames from the outside, there is no sign of any entry to our building and nothing appears to have been stolen from the inside.
All of the window frames and windows sustained some damage, the worst being the broken window sash and glass in the attached photo. With some work, we were able to close all of the windows so that rain and bugs will not get in the house.
The police were called and an officer responded and investigated. There appears to be no finger prints on the inside. The best we can determine by talking to scouts and scout parents who have been in the house over the past week is that the air conditioners were in place as late as Saturday morning,
July 28, 2012. This means that the units were probably stolen either Saturday or Sunday night.
This is a sad testimony to the state of our society that some people would steal from the Boys Scouts and the church. To me, this just reinforces why need Scouts, Churches, and other uplifting organizations.
They are accepting donations from anyone if they would like to help cover the costs of damages and replacement of window units. The house is located behind First United Methodist Church in Dothan.
