Structure Fire at Sweetwater Apartments

Multiple Dothan Fire engines were dispatched to an early morning fire at Sweetwater apartments. When fire fighters arrived they were met with smoke and flames inside an upstairs apartment. Someone was home during the blaze and stated the fire was in the kitchen and it got to big for them to handle, so they called 911.

No one was injured in the fire how ever the building does house eight different apartments. It appears that the apartment where the fire occurred and the apartment below are the only two to receive any damage. Thanks to the quick action of the fire department the fire was contained to the one apartment.

Dothan Police, Pilchers Ambulance and a Houston County Deputy also responded to the call. The on call Fire Marshal has been called in to investigate the fire.
