Structure Fire in the 700 Block of Monroe Street

DOTHAN: Multiple Dothan Fire units responded to a report of a structure fire in the 700 block of Monroe Street. The first unit on scene advised heavy fire visible. Battalion 1 has command. Dothan Police responded along with an ambulance. The road the fire is located on is closed due to emergency equipment and supply line blocking the road. Firefighters made quick entry into the home and knocked down the fire. The family escaped with the clothes on their backs and lost everything. The home was heavily damaged by the fire.
