Geneva County, AL: On July 4, 2012, Samson Volunteer Fire Department, Samson Volunteer Rescue Squad, and Flat Creek Volunteer Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 1081 Forest Area Road. When the first unit arrived on scene, they reported that smoke and flames were visible. Samson Fire Department responded quickly along with Samson Rescue and Flat Creek Brush 2. Samson Fire quickly put the fire out and returned back to service. The structure fire was a camper trailer.
