Structure Fire Reported at 6160 Dehodge Road in Cottonwood

Multiple Volunteer Fire units from Cottonwood and Hodgesville are on the scene of a structure fire at 6160 Dehodge Road in Cottonwood. First report was flames visible from the kitchen area. Cottonwood Fire Chief was first unit on scene he advised smoke and flames visible and this would be a working fire. Cottonwood Police responded along with an ambulance from Pilcher’s. Firefighters were quick to knock down the fire and keep it contained to the kitchen area, however the entire home was damaged from heat and smoke. No one was home at the time of the fire.
