Structure Fire Reported at 812 West Powell Street

DOTHAN: Multiple Dothan Fire Engines are responding to a report of a structure fire at 812 West Powell Street. First Engine on scene has advised smoke and flames visible.
Battalion 1 has command. Dothan Police are responding along with an ambulance. The road is closed due to supply line blocking the road.
One of the first Dothan Police Officers on scene and was able to get the two victims out of the home and to safety. Fire fighters made an interior attack on the fire and were able to get control quickly.
The victims were checked out by paramedics from CARE Ambulance but neither one wanted to go to the hospital.
The cause of the fire is under investigation by the Dothan Fire Department.
