It is with great  regret that I announce to you the 3^rd ( third ) Abbeville Municipal Police Officer has resigned from the Abbeville Police Department.

Abbeville Police Officer Michael Nicewanger has resigned from the Abbeville Police Department . Abbeville’s loss is Houston County’s gain. Nicewanger will begin with Houston County Sheriff Department.

NICEWANGER WAS THIRD IN COMMAND OF SWAT

Abbeville Police Department Lt. Noel Vanlandingham started a SWAT Team. The team consisted of multiple law enforcement officers and volunteers from the area.

The team practiced religiously. They were a very respected and hard working team under Vanlandingham.

Second in command was Eric Duhaime. He just left Abbeville Police Department and went work with Houston County Sheriff Department.

With Vanlandingham leaving the command went to Duhaime. When Duhaime left the command went to Nicewanger.

Now Nicewanger has left Abbeville Police Department and gone to work with Houston County Sheriff Department.

ABBEVILLE TOWN COUNCIL FORCES THREE TO LEAVE

The actions of Abbeville Town Councilman in the way they hired a new Abbeville Police Chief has caused three of the Abbeville Police Officers to leave and seek employment elsewhere.

Abbeville’s loss has been the gain of Henry County Sheriff Department and Houston County Sheriff Department.

These four councilman have done the citizens and guests of Abbeville an injustice.

They have done these officers an injustice.

These officers loved the City of Abbeville and they people. They put in far more time and energy into making it a better place to live, attend school and work.

And then four councilman urinate in the face of 13 year Abbeville Police Lt. Noel Vanlandingham as Police Chief. And then then do the same to the people who work for Abbeville Police Department.

And not one of these four councilman have ever placed their lives on the lines for service and protection of the citizens.

Good job councilman. You are now the 2014 dummies of the year.
