SUBJECT ARRESTED FOR CAPITAL SEXUAL BATTERY

On January 11, 2013 the Bonifay Police Department arrested a Louisiana man for a single count of capital sexual battery on a child. Dale Anthony Castro a 41 year-old, black male of Monroe, Louisiana is in the Holmes County Jail on a $50,000.00 bond. The investigation began on December 26, 2012 when the victim made a disclosure that he had been molested while visiting a residence in Bonifay. The victim identified Castro, who was a visitor in the same home as the perpetrator. An arrest warrant was issued this morning and Castro was arrested in Bonifay without incident. The Bonifay Police Department would like to thank the Florida Department of Children and Families and the Child Advocacy Center for their assistance with this investigation.
