                Marianna, FL. 32448

 

Charges: Possession of a Controlled Substance (Cocaine)

               

 

 

          On September 22nd, 2012 at approximately 11:18 p.m., officers with the Marianna Police Department made contact with a black female sitting in a parked silver Pontiac passenger vehicle behind the Friendly Corner Sports Bar on St. Andrews St. While speaking with the woman who was identified as Cheryl Denise Moore officers observed that Moore was concealing something in her right hand which was discovered to be a small clear plastic baggie which contained a white powdery substance and a small portion of a clear straw which also contained a white powdery residue. The substance was recovered and field tested positive for the presence of cocaine. Moore was arrested and is being charged with Possession of a controlled substance (Cocaine). Moore was transported to the Marianna Police Department for processing and later taken to the Jackson County Correctional Facility to await first appearance.
