Subject Climbs on Hood of Vehicle and Gets Critically Injured

A 2002 Ford Mustang was stopped facing West in the westbound lane of Wyoming Street. The pedestrian allegedly climbed on to the hood of the Mustang and while the Mustang was traveling southwest, the pedestrian slid, fell, or jumped from the hood of the Mustang and landed in the eastbound lane of Wyoming Street. The pedestrian, Ashley N. Mack, 23, of Pensacola, Florida, was transported to Baptist Hospital for treatment.

The driver of the vehicle, Jasmin Smith, 23, of Pensacola, Florida, was cited for Permitting Passenger to Ride on Exterior of Vehicle and Proof of No Insurance. This crash ocurred in Escambia County, Florida.
