Sunday Afternoon Stucture Fire

DOTHAN:  Dothan 911 dispatched a structure fire located at the laundromat at the corner of South Foster Street and Selma Street. Multiple Dothan Fire Engines rolled.

The fire location was R and J Laundromat at 1114 South Foster Street. The initial reports were smoke and flames visible.

The fireman worked to get the fire contained. The fire was contained to dryer units in the damage. Besides damage to the machine there was smoke damage to the building.

There was damage done to the laundromat. Dothan Fire Marshall wa called to the scene to investigate the cause of the fire. Fire Marshall Chris Etheredge was on the scene.

Dothan Fire Captain Tellius Blackman was acting Batallion Chief and in command of the scene.
