While there’s many things  you need to teach your kids so they become productive members of society (budgeting, critical thinking skills, ethics, etc.) there’s one that you have help with right now that will be fun and even profitable! That’s cooking.


Because PorktoberQue strongly believes that cooking is a life skill that every student aged 8-18 should have, they are once again having their Kids Que, sponsored by Academy Sports+Outdoors in Dothan. Kids will be divided into 2 age groups (8-12 and 13-18) and will grill pork chops (provided by Fatback’s restaurant) on Saturday September 26. Winners receive prizes and trophies, but everyone entered gets a table top (tailgate) grill they can keep! Space is limited to the first 50 kids to sign up, and right now there’s about a dozen entered.
