THE PERSISTENCE OF WRONGFUL PROSECUTION
Dothan, AL—Alabama native Raheimi Kinsey is set to stand trial AGAIN for Armed Robbery on February 6, 2012 in the Houston County Circuit Court before the Honorable Judge Butch Binford. Mr. Kinsey was wrongly arrested and charged with robbing a gas station attendant at gunpoint. This will be Mr. Kinsey’s fourth time standing trial for this same offense, with two prior trials having ended with hung juries and one other trial ending in a mistrial due to a juror disclosing after the evidence was closed that he was indirectly related to Mr. Kinsey. The Houston County District Attorney’s Office is determined to convict Mr. Kinsey despite their continued inability to prove his guilt. Mr. Kinsey maintains that he is innocent of the crime of which he has been accused and is looking forward to his nightmare being over once and for all. Mr. Kinsey, his lawyer, Attorney Mark Overall, and members of his family, will hold a press conference on Saturday, February 4, 2012 2:00 p.m. in front of the county courthouse located at 114 North Oates Street, Dothan, Alabama 36302. Questions from the media will be addressed at this time.
