HOUSTON COUNTY: Well... I am not saying Houston County School Superintendent lied. I am saying, he just ain’t telling the truth!
Pitchford penned a letter to members of the Houston County School Board where he states he is "mad as hell".
Pitchford also pens that he would not let workers to work until he got board approval, verbally.
ILLEGAL TO POLL THE BOARD
It is a violation of Alabama law to poll the board. It is a violation of the Alabama Open Meetings Law.
With Pitchford stating that he would not let the workers do the work until verbal approval of the board, it was an apparent violation of Alabama Law. Pitchford and those who participated were subject to fines of up to $ 1,000.00, individually.
PITCHFORD NOW SAYS...
The Dothan Eagle writer, Jim Cook, now pens from an interview with Pitchford, that Ol’ Tim claims he was not seeking " verbal approval". He was merely "informing" the board members.
Sorry Tim, but YOUR OWN LETTER reads, you stopped the work until you called the board members. Why were the workers being paid for you to make 6 or 7 telephone calls to "inform" if you were not seeking approval?
I mean, you know it is how you hand out discipline. One size fits all...
ARROGANT
The arrogance, if you think we believe that you were just informing. You are now saying that you did not need the board’s approval.
GREAT...FINE...OKAY...
If that was your intentions, why did you stop the work to call?
Tim, just say...you know...I was and fall on the sword or come up with a much better excuse!
