Chipley, FL— The Washington County Sheriff’s Office is asking for information that will lead to the identification and arrest of those responsible for the burglaries of homes in the Bahama Road area of Northeast Washington County and in the Douglas Ferry Road Popular Springs area. 


 


Several sistering counties are reporting similar burglaries. Suspects are hitting homes during the day, often entering through the back door.  Several thousands of dollars of property have been taken during these burglaries including electronics such as flat screen tvs, ipads, and jewelry.


 


Sheriff Haddock is asking residents if you see anything out of the ordinary, call law enforcement immediately. If during the day you know your neighbor is away at work and you see someone around their home or a suspicious vehicle in your neighborhood, give us a call.
