There is a small patch of woods in the Dothan East subdivision behind some houses on Creekwood Dr that recently became haunted. The ghouls, goblins, and killers are loose and terrorizing those who dare to enter. Both young and old have braved the woods and luckily no one has gone missing. Along a trail, make-shift shacks have been built out of wood, sheets, black plastic, and other odds and ends found laying around.
This trail starts from a gate in the backyard of Lt David Jay of the Dothan Police Dept. Lt Jay, other members of local law enforcement, and friends run the haunted trail. Lt Jay and his family have set up the haunted trail for 21 years, 16 at it's present location, and all they have a small bucket for donations. There is no charge to enter, just some clean, family fun.
During Trick-or-Treat hours, Jay and his crew will have his yard decorated with some of the decorations from the trail and most of the characters will be out roaming the subdivision. The subdivision is located on Mimosa Dr, just off of Cottonwood Hwy in the Dothan City Limits.
