There Is Still Something Of A Fowl Odor In The Tim Wilder and Dothan Board of Education Case

DOTHAN:   While the members of the Dothan Board Of Education voted to terminate Dothan School Superintendent Tim Wilder, there is still a fowl odor from the investigation and hearing.


The Dothan Board Of Education did a poor job in their investigation into the true facts and circumstances surrounding the allegations against Tim Wilder. No matter what the truth is, Wilder has been ruined by the Dothan School Board.


The hearing was a total joke. The evidence was flimsy and a complete joke. The Dothan Eagle had it correct, the investigation was done wrong.


The members of the Dothan Board of Education failed the people they support and the children. The Dothan Board of Educations has ONCE AGAIN given Dothan Alabama a black eye in the manner they handled this case.


I do not know if Tim Wilder sexually harassed this woman. But what I do know, under the leadership of Harry Wayne Parrish, you failed the citizens of the city and the students. All you have accomplished is to get your son on as a teacher in the City of Dothan School system.


VIOLATIONS OF THE OPEN MEETINGS LAWWhen the Dothan Board of Education ruled to go into Executive Session, Ken Curtis of WDHN objected. Parrish made a smart tail comment and Curtis was not quick enough on his feet to respond.


Parrish said it was to discuss good name and character. Well Mr. Parrish, the good name and character was that of Tim Wilder. He made a choice that he wanted the public to hear the meeting and accusations. Ms. Etheredge testified in open session.


So the good name and character issue had already been discussed and in the public. So Harry Wayne, you pulled a con job and lied, and went into executive session.


The public deserved to know.

I am sorry that our so called leaders destroyed you in the sexual harassment. The elected school board members demonstrated that they do not know what they are doing and represented Dothan as complete dumb asses.
