 HCRW is Houston County Republican Women. A recent press release sent to Dothan media by Jim McGhee is as follows (McGhee was Phillip Tidwell’s former business partner and is currently on the Board of Directors for the Wiregrass Honor Flight):

The attached photo is the new Houston County Republican Women Board of Directors for 2010 - 2011.

HCRW meets on the 4th Thursday from January through October at the Wiregrass Rehab Center Lions Hall. Lunch $10 at 11:30 am, program starts at noon.  Reservations are required at sstephenson@houstoncounty.org 648-3005. Associate members (men) are also welcome to all meetings. Notice the email address for the “ Houston County Republican Women” reservations "sstephenson@houstoncounty.org ”. Our guess is that the email address is that of Sheri Stephenson, the Houston County Personnel Director 

We asked Houston County Commission Chairman Mark Culver (R) why a county employee would be using a governmental email address for a political function. His response was: "Don’t know". 

Culver was featured in a WTVY article concerning social networking and the 2010 election campaign. The article shows Culver on facebook and twitter. He used his blackberry…or was that the county blackberry for political purposes? 

Carolyn Cook, the current president of the HCRW said in a recent letter to party members that you have to follow the rules. With all of the ethics reform and questions on people following the rules and party rules, we were just wondering whose rules they are following?
