PANAMA CITY BEACH FL:
PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (WJHG) - Panama City Beach police officers confirm they have four suspects in custody Sunday following a shooting in Panama City Beach that left three people wounded.
Chief of Police Drew Whitman confirmed they responded to reports of gunshots around 4:15 Sunday afternoon.
Police arrived to a parking lot on Front Beach Road in between a Burger King and Ocean Towers.
There officials found three people who had non life-threatening gunshot wounds.
Officials say four suspects fled the scene in a vehicle the victims described.
Police officers followed them and apprehended all four suspects not far from where the shooting happened.
They say three of the suspects tried to run. All of the victims have been taken to the hospital. Chief Whitman said both the victims and the suspects are from Atlanta, but did not have any more information about the connection between the two of them.
