Public Hearing regarding the abatement and removal of noxious or dangerous weeds.

Res. No.__________Declaring certain properties which are overgrown with weeds, scrub, wild bushes, grass and other vegetable growth as injurious to the health, safety and welfare of the community as nuisances and ordering that the properties be abated.

Res. No.__________Approving the utilization of seizure funds to pay various allowable expenditures for Police Department operations in the amount of $37,991.00, and appropriating funds for said expenditures.

Res. No.__________Applying for and accepting funding from the United States Department of Justice, Bureau of Justice Assistance 2015 Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Program in the amount of $27,672.00, $22,137.60 for the City of Dothan and $5,534.40 for Houston County, for the purchase of law enforcement technology advancement and equipment.

Res. No.__________Entering into an agreement with the United States Department of Justice, Drug Enforcement Administration for reimbursement of overtime expenses not to exceed $17,374.25.
 




15.

Res. No.__________Entering into a permit agreement with the Alabama Department of Transportation for the installation of a tap, valve, fire line and copper service on Montgomery Highway, 231 North for access to Care at 3542 Montgomery Highway.
 




16.

Res. No.__________Entering into an agreement with the State of Alabama, acting by and through the Alabama Department of Transportation, for the grade, drain, base, pave and construction of a girder replacement bridge on CR-25 (Denton Road) over Rock Creek.
 




17.

Res. No.__________Agreeing to pay the Alabama Department of Transportation the sum of $1,472,425.81 for the City’s share of the construction, engineering and inspection of the Denton Road Bridge over Rock Creek.

Res. No.__________That Resolution Number 2009-344 is hereby rescinded and that City of Dothan award the bid, enter into a contract, and issue a Notice to Proceed to Lewis Construction, LLC, for the James O. Oates Park, Phase I Project in the amount of $11,883,000.00.

Res. No.__________Entering into an agreement with CDG Engineers & Associates for construction engineering and inspection services for Bridge Replacement on CR-25 (Denton Road) over Rock Creek in accordance with the Agreement for Construction Engineering Services for a not-to-exceed amount of $295,000.00 without authorization of the City Commission.

Res. No.__________Appropriating funds in the amount of $96,526.00 for easement acquisition and accepting said easements for the 2014 Rock Creek Little Choctawhatchee Line Project.

Res. No.__________Accepting the proposal submitted by Carmichael Engineering, Inc., for construction monitoring and testing for the James O. Oates Park, Phase I Project, in the amount of $76,000.00.

 




22.

Res. No.__________Entering into an agreement with Motorola for a System Update Agreement for the Fire Station Alerting System for a total cost of $56,509.70.

Res. No.__________Approving payment of invoices for the month of May, 2015 in the amount of $11,606,641.

Res. No._________Approving other purchases over $15,000.00 by the City.
