At today’s Houston County Commission Meeting; Houston County Engineer announced that the Houston County Road and Bridge received an award for the design and construction process of the Houston County portion of County Road 22. This is a big achievement for the department; no other county in Alabama received this ward for 2014.


Also at today’s meeting some concerned citizens spoke about a new second plat being added to the Liberty Park Subdivision. The county has limited control over what is done with subdivision.
